1. Installing the ISO
1. Go to https://linuxmint.com/download.php
2. Select "Cinnamon Edition" 3. Download the "World Linux Mint" Mirror
2. Making a bootable USB Stick
1. Find a USB Stick
2. Go to https://rufus.ie/en/ and download the normal version
3. Insert the USB Stick in the PC
4. Open Rufus
5. Select the USB Stick and the ISO
6. Put 1 GB on "Persistent Partition Size"
7. Select "Partition Scheme" as "GPT"
8. Select "Target System" as "UEFI (non CSM)"
9. Start the proces
10. Wait until is done
11. When Is done, take out the USB
3. Making a new partition
1. Go in the search bar and type "Disk Manager"
2. Select the partition you want to shrink
3. Shrink the partition to the desired space
4. Close the "Disk Manager"
4. Installing Linux on on your PC
1. Restart the PC
2. Press the BIOS key after the screen turned off
3. Go in the boot section and put the USB first in "Boot Priority"
4. Save and exit the bios
5. In the GNU Grub, select the Linux Mint and then press enter
6. When you enter for the first time on Linux Mint, you will see a disk icon
7. Press the disk icon and you will enter the installation program
8. Select the "Language"
9. Select the "Keyboard Language"
10. Install the "Multimedia Codecs"
11. Select "Something Else" (you dont want to remove Windows, you want to dual boot)
12. Select the partition that you created (Its labeled "Free space")
13. Make it "Ext 4"
14. Put the root as "/"
15. after step 14, you will need to select "Where are you from"
16. Put your name and password
17. Wait for the installation to finish
18. Restart the PC
19. Remove the USB stick when the screen tells you to "Remove medium, then press enter"
20. The PC will restart and then you will enter the full version of Linux Mint
